Tuition & Financial Aid

Parental Choice Tax Credits, OISF Scholarships, and OIA Financial Aid will be applied to every eligible student accordingly.

All payments are due on the first of each month.

Scholarship adjustments from PCTC and/or OISF will be applied only after funds are received and properly endorsed by the parent. Until such time, the standard tuition amount remains due on the 1st of each month.

The specific provisions governing the Oklahoma Parental Choice Tax Credit can be found at 70 O.S. § 28-101 (OSCN 2024).

Enrollment Commitment
Enrollment at Oklahoma Islamic Academy constitutes a binding financial commitment for the full academic year. Submission of the Enrollment Commitment Form and payment of the Enrollment Commitment Fee secures a student’s placement and authorizes OIA to allocate staffing, classroom resources, and operational expenses based on that commitment.
Enrollment Commitment Fee
The Enrollment Commitment Fee is exclusively the Semester 1 Fee and is required to reserve a student’s seat.
-
The Enrollment Commitment Fee is non-refundable and forfeited regardless of the date or reason for withdrawal.
-
The Enrollment Commitment Fee is not a tuition prepayment and is not applied toward or credited against annual tuition.
-
Enrollment is not finalized, and a seat is not guaranteed, until both the completed Enrollment Commitment Form and payment are received and accepted by OIA.
Tuition Obligation
Tuition is a separate and independent annual contractual obligation. Any monthly installment plan is provided solely as a payment convenience and does not alter the total annual tuition due.
Withdrawal, dismissal, non-attendance, or expulsion does not release a family from financial responsibility except as specifically provided in this policy.
Early Withdrawal Policy
OIA’s operating budget is established on the reasonable presumption that students will remain enrolled for the full academic year. Early withdrawal results in financial harm to the school. Because the precise amount of such harm is difficult to determine, the parties agree to the following liquidated damages (early termination fee), which are reasonable and not a penalty:
If a student withdraws prior to the end of the academic year, the responsible party agrees to pay:
-
August 1 – October 31 Tuition through the last month of attendance plus 60% of the remaining annual tuition.
-
November 1 – January 31Tuition through the last month of attendance plus 40% of the remaining annual tuition.
-
February 1 – May 28 Tuition through the last month of attendance plus 25% of the remaining annual tuition.
Additional Provisions
-
The early termination fee is due on the student’s final day of enrollment.
-
Amounts not paid within 30 days may be referred to a third-party collection agency.
-
For purposes of calculating early withdrawal tuition and any applicable early termination fees, OIA will use the standard monthly installment schedule, even if the family elected to pay tuition in full.
-
An “Intent to Withdraw” form must be submitted for at the time of withdrawal.
-
If a student is expelled, the early termination fee applies.
-
If OIA determines that a student must be referred for alternative placement, the early termination fee will be waived.
OIA contracts with Southwest Recovery Services for collection of delinquent accounts (www.swrecovery.com).
